Cristiano Ronaldo isn't only famous for his successful football career and achievements, but he is also known for his good deeds outside football.

It could be recalled that moments after Real Madrid won their 10th UEFA Champions league trophy in 2014, the audience and thousands of football fans at Lisbon that day were taken by surprise, as Ronaldo abandoned the team celebration only to run to the stands to pull out a man and hug him passionately.

People wondered and were inquisitive about who the man was. However, during an interview, Ronaldo told the media that he wanted to honour his childhood friend who sacrificed himself for him so that he can become who he is today.

Ronaldo said he asked Albert after the game why he didn't score his goal, but Albert said he wanted him to be in the academy because he was better than him.

He went on saying that he has to thank his kid friend Albett Fantrau for his success. Ronaldo said they played together back then In the U - 19 league and one day, a scout came to see the team with a prerequisite that whoever scores more goals will enter into their academy.

Ronaldo said Albert however was facing the goalkeeper one on one for a third goal, and dribbled past him, but he passed the ball to him to score that goal and accomplish that task rather than scoring himself.

What a friend! Today, Albert is living at the expense of Ronaldo as Ronaldo made Albert very rich after he got successful, by getting him everything he needed in life.
